The Child Bride demonstrating her skills yet again, piloting our rig into the Staircase Range Campsite near Rolleston. Handy little bugger and I’d be lost without her. The voiceover is to demonstrate to potential van owners and hirers that anyone can experience the great lifestyle away from the bustle of the easy coast.
Since you last saw me under our caravan yesterday, we’ve managed to have all the shock absorber bushes replaced using a vice and a few sockets, and this morning I’ve remounted the final three on the van. We had a few new shockies as spares and we’ve mounted those on the left hand side as that side gets the hardest wear. Now we can pack up and head north from Moranbah, up Belyando Crossing way, towards Charters Towers and northwards towards Laura for my reunion with my past in the late 40s
Just in case there was an idea out there that The Child Bride and I were just travelling about, our granddaughter shot this video of us in Moranbah shooting instructional videos and stills for new caravan users. The Bride wields a mean iPhone X and has been at it most of the day.
